All about the photo

Something happened when the world went digital, I was freed from film.

Some people are still holding on tightly to their film cameras. NOT ME! Just between us, I couldn’t thread a 35mm camera. For that matter, I don’t think I ever got a full roll of film back from the drug store without losing at least one, or MORE of the shots. So I wasn’t very motivated to even remove used rolls from the camera. I was satisfied on trips, to just get a duplicate set from whoever would cooperate with me.

Things began to change around 12 years ago when :

1. I was drawn to documenting my work in my classroom and on the high school stage

2. Tuvia bought me my first user-friendly camera

3. I discovered digital storytelling

And 4 cameras later, I have moved into the SLR world and the camera has become my third arm. I even own a tripod.

The photo above was taken on an afternoon of shooting with my artist friend Sharon, who has guided me in the right direction!

Still can’t believe this is the direction I’m taking, Wow.

I just joined a Flickr group sharing a photo a day.
