Unearthing the Past: January 28,2009

I met a woman at a writing workshop I attended in Taos, New Mexico at the famous, Mable Dodge Inn. It was directed by Natalie Goldberg.  What a great opportunity to write and fall in love with the Land of Enchantment. I brought home lots of wonderful pieces for remembering and this is one that keeps hanging on.

I don’t remember the woman’s name but her work lives on.  The Lovers  are made  of  clay that has been broken and put back together more than once.  Crazy Glue to the rescue and if you look closely you might be able to see a few of the breaks.

Can you make out the two lovers?
