Theater in NYC: Day 30

Theater: Day 30

The snow forced us to trouble shoot.  My theater buddy James, tried to get home in time from St Louis but no way, no seat for him on any of the planes taking off for NYC airports.

Tuvia to the rescue!

With a quick change of plans we were off to NYC for a Wednesday matinee of La Bete, a play that James loves and I had yet to see.

After a bit of a hastle working our way through a snow mess on the streets of NYC, we got into our Park and Lock and raced to our theater just a few blocks away.

With 1o minutes to get comfortable in our tiny spaces, Tuvia thumbed through the program and I checked my email on my traveling iPad.  Then…

My favorite moment… this red screen disappeared into the darkness and everything went away as we were transported to Paris, 1635.

It was good to be home in the theater.  I was grateful to be back.

  1. This is so funny – we also went in last night to see “The Importance of Being Earnest” and ran into the worst gridlock I’ve ever experienced. We made the play, and really enjoyed it..but what a mess our city is!!!

  2. And now the mayor steps up FINALLY!
