Returning to the Village: SOLT

Finally,  a sunny, spring Saturday in the Village without heavy jackets and finally, a day we could meet up with family at the A.O.C.

There’s just four years difference between us, but growing up my cousin Arlene and I were never in the same social group.  Her older sister, Carrie just months younger, was the one I spent time with and finally on Saturday we lunched together.

Yes, it has taken way too long, but family is precious and yes better later than never.

Tuvia was thrilled to be out, to be in New York City and to be meeting new people.

  1. The picture makes you all look so happy. Warm spring weather will do that every time, right?

  2. Looks like good times for all. Sunshine makes us happy.

  3. Family IS precious. It was nice that you got to spend some time with relatives. It’s fun to “meet relatives” after you are grown, and you realize that 4 years is not a lifetime of difference like it was when you were kids.

  4. Lovely words + picture. I liked how you turned the noun lunch into a verb. I’m going to try that in my writing this week. 🙂

  5. What a great picture – family and loved ones and the Village on a beautiful day…life is good!

  6. Arlene Sarica

Yes, Bonnie, it was a truly wonderful day….company, weather, food. Something that needs to be repeated!!
