It’s the third day of our monthly challenge and here in New York we are still in the deep freeze. Yesterday I remained in my pj’s and slippers and enjoyed a full day surrounded by home. Challenged to shoot a new photo every day, I couldn’t help but capture the full bloom of my flower which lasted just a few hours. It’s gone now but we have its glorious burst right here, forever.
It’s hard to believe as the sun streams in today that yesterday everything was dominated bya howling powerful wind.
I’m smiling and still in pj’s, at least for a cup of coffee, the Today Show, and a bit of guitar before my lesson.

We have brilliant clear sky today, beautiful, serene blue. The snow in most places still even looks pretty. Another day or two and it’ll be a brown muck, but right now it’s lovely. Could do without the windchill of -3, however!
Sounds like a great way to spend the day! I did the same here, and actually got some baking done (and still chewing over the problem of Monotone theme…)

I love the gorgeous flower! I am so ready for spring. I took my class outside today even though it was cold and they loved running around like crazy. We have had too many inside days.

First, I hate all of you who are starting to see signs of spring. It was -30 degrees here yesterday morning! :0) (Not real hate, just bitter jealousy!) We are still at least 6 weeks away from the first signs of spring.

Today, I went to the beach front with my children. I found a sea shell and gave
it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She put the shell to her ear and screamed.
There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear. She never wants to go back!
